Tonight I participated in the Frisco-Online (FOL) Meet the Candidates Night. Nearly all of the candidates for Mayor, City Council, and Frisco School Board were there. What a great event!

My amazing campaign team members, Isabel Sem and Teresa Allen, joined the Maccubbin family for this event. It was my first chance to share with Frisco citizens the issues about which I care so much: investment opportunities targeted at keeping tax rates low, educational flexibility for students at all levels, and increasing the number of experienced and highly educated teachers.

Tonight I got to speak at length with John and Carol Rogers, Barbara and Adelle Gallegos, Fred Pasquarelli, David Smith, Tracy Shipman, Clare Nixon, and many, many others. I was amazed by the desire of so many to make an informed decision in choosing our city's next leaders.
